                                                                                    PREPARATION

                                                                                                      Training lasts 6 months.
Girls meet with coaches and trainers at least once
a week between October and April. The night before
the event, team members celebrate with a pasta party which recognizes "honored teammates"
who have raised funds and triumphed over significant challenges in their commitment to hike the Grand
Canyon, a natural wonder of the world, and Arizona’s most important natural feature. Girls will record
their experiences in writing, and in other in artistic forms, and will also make scientific/academic
observations. Two months after the hike, this documentary will open to the public.
