Our philosophy The Girls’ Education Project subscribes to a philosophy of empowerment. The Girls’ Education Project takes the position that every girl has the inalienable right to live safely, free from abuse, violence, intimidation, and oppression in intimate, professional, and social relationships. Furthermore, The Girls’ Education Project grounds itself in the belief that every aspect of the diversity and variety of the female of the species is indispensable to the full and positive development of our world and that, as such, all girls have the absolute right to free and unhindered access to the information, training, resources, and support which will permit them full use and control of their talents and abilities; which will help them to success in all areas of their lives; and which will prepare them to contribute meaningfully to the development of their families and communities. |
